It's really nice to see the record shots too, which are great so well done.<br />It looks like a male to me with the colourful S2 segment, which should only be tinged violet in a female. Also in females the black marking that runs along the top of the abdomen runs the full length i.e. through S2. The pictured dragonfly shows the black line stopping short of S2 as found in males.
