With the lovely weather we had on the 15th it still felt like summer, particularly with the dragonflies and butterflies still flying! Not many, but there was a male Southern Hawker and an over mature female common darter on and around the visitor centre ponds (the butterfly was a speckled wood). A far cry from the weather this morning- I doubt I'll see any dragons on the wing today!

I would have mentioned that we'll all be looking forward to things picking up again next year. But, as Alun's post above proves, along with yours, there's still plenty going on locally. Hopefully the weather will give us a few more chances for some Dragons?
I am, thanks for the acceptance! Yes definitely still dragon action- there was a darter flying round the dipping pond at Parc Slip again today in the sun. Didn't catch what species of darter it was as it shot off, but likely to be common or ruddy. Have seen overmature female common darter in the same area over the last few weeks. Fingers crossed for more before the weather really turns against us!
