Coed y Bedw & The Garth, Pentyrch. 29/06/2022
Took a walk around the mountain while the car was in the garage, I found Two Golden-ringed Dragons and a Male Emperor. The Emperor did stop for a picture but I had better luck with the Golden-ringed.
Coed y Bedw NR was rough, looks like no work has been done on the site for quite some time, which is a pity.

Forest Farm 01/07/2022
A walk around Forest Farm I saw a male Emperor hunting over one of the ponds but to far for a photo. Then a walk along the canal produced plenty of Azure Damsels and a few Large Reds, then came to some reed beds where Five male Banded Demoiselle were displaying and a bit further along a single male Beautiful Demoiselle and Three females were resting up.
No dragons found on the canal.

Cyfarthfa Castle. 22/06/2022
Cyfarthfa has four small ponds behind the castle in the woods which were the holding ponds for the main lake. Thay are full of lily pads and surrounded by vegetation and always good for Dragons and Damsels.
Today there was plenty of Azure Damselflies and a few Large Reds. Plus 4 Broad-bodied Chaser males and 2 male Emperors. The Emperors were not playing ball and posing for their photographs.
There is another pond of to the left in the woods but it is getting overgrown.

Pysgodlyn Mawr, 12/06/2022
Hi everybody, glad to be back out and about again.
Spent a couple of hours at the lake trying to get a picture of the Downy Emeralds but with the wind blowing they just would not settle, also patroling the reed beds was a male Emperor. So just got a few pictures of the Damsels sheltering in the bankside. Large Reds and Azures, some in tandem.
I then move onto Llanerch wood pools.
