Rhoose Point, 03/07/2022

My first visit to this site so just had a walk around to see what wild areas were there. some nice fields with wild flowers a couple of ponds the coastal path and some rough ground. Plenty of wildlife and insects about. I found a couple of Black-tailed skimmers by one of the ponds and a few Blue-tailed Damsels.

Well worth another visit.

Coed y Bedw & The Garth, Pentyrch. 29/06/2022

Took a walk around the mountain while the car was in the garage, I found Two Golden-ringed Dragons and a Male Emperor. The Emperor did stop for a picture but I had better luck with the Golden-ringed.

Coed y Bedw NR was rough, looks like no work has been done on the site for quite some time, which is a pity.

Forest Farm 01/07/2022

A walk around Forest Farm I saw a male Emperor hunting over one of the ponds but to far for a photo. Then a walk along the canal produced plenty of Azure Damsels and a few Large Reds, then came to some reed beds where Five male Banded Demoiselle were displaying and a bit further along a single male Beautiful Demoiselle and Three females were resting up.

No dragons found on the canal.
