Llanilid
Also at the south pools today was 1 Ruddy and Common darter and still a few Migrant hawkers at this site
Excellent work Alun. The Ruddy Darter record will be, in all likelihood, more notable than the RVD, this year, if you take the county as a whole. Kenfig, it seems, is becoming a less reliable location for Ruddy Darter; Dave Carrington saw a male earlier in the year and Roo Perkins reporting them subsequently north of the pool. Do you see Ruddy Darter at Llanilid regularly? It would be great to have another site for them in VC41.
I've only seen Ruddy Darter once before at Llanilid. I suspect they are only an irregular visitor there, but certainly one to look out for in the future.
