Parc Slip

First damselfly of the year for Parc Slip reported by butterfly recorders john and Margaret yesterday, they didn't say what species but will be keeping my eyes peeled now. Will also be very interesting to see what Odonata moves into the new wetland here.

Hi Rose. It's good to have you back again this year and a full season of Parc Slip sightings will certainly improve this blog. I'm looking forward to what you'll find. The new habitat will be especially exciting to survey. I imagine Scarce Blue-tails will be on the cards and some skimmers. It might take them a bit of time to find it but hopefully some extra species will turn up during the coming season for the reserve.
