Llanerch ... again

Return visit to Llanerch ponds this afternoon - lots of Blue-tailed damselflies around, mostly male but some females were seen

No other damselflies seen, but a large dragonfly was patrolling the western pond. Didn't really come close enough for a good view but the thorax looked greenish and the abdomen was clearly segmented.

Hi Howard,

Seams like there is alot happening at Llanerch wood, I was there last week and besides the Dragons I found alot of bugs beetles and flies.
I agree with your last blog about the Red-eyed Damsel but I think its a male. With the weather getting warmer things should start picking up now.
Here's hoping,

Mike
